Mitsubishi Electric Europe GmbH, Ratingen
The business relationship with this supplier was established in 1990, after INEA in 1989 had reached the business decision not to continue developing and producing own process controllers but rather use the equipment on the world quality level and attain technological competitiveness with such equipment.
As a replacement for our own controllers and multi-loop process controllers we decided to choose Mitsubishi controllers, which are distinguished for technical perfection and reliability as well as for competitive prices. Since then our software development for control systems is directed especially to Mitsubishi equipment. The thorough knowledge of control and regulation technology enabled our experts to develop an original program solution IDR BLOK, which upgrades the Process Logic Controller to a multi-loop controller. When Inea handed over the mature version of this product for production, Mitsubishi accepted Inea among its partners in the development of process control technology and its introduction.
Supported by its own application capacities, INEA is continually steeply increasing its volume of sale of Mitsubishi equipment and is gradually widening its product mix: in 1994 with frequency converters, in 1998 with small robots, and in 1999 with servo systems. The market share of Mitsubishi controllers on the Slovenian market is estimated to 10 – 15% since 1996 on.
INEA sells Mitsubishi equipment to end users, OEM producers, application project operators and system integrators. From 1993 on INEA markets the Mitsubishi equipment also on the Croatian market.
